In this video I help out a customer with a concern of no heat in his Nissan Frontier with the big 4.0 Turns out there was more to the issue than just a bad thermostat or plugged heater core.
-Enjoy!

Well at least yo uh changing the thermostat he shouldn't have to come back because the thermostat got stuck open or closed so it's not like you are ripping him off so you have nothing to worry about with that.
Them worm clamps will last about a year before they start leaking again. The factory put these constant torque clamps (the ones every ignorant mechanic hates) for a reason. These expand and contract on heat cycles and won't leak.
Yeah I usually flush the heater core both ways a couple of times and use the little jug of Zerex flush, run it for 30 mins and flush good again then fill with coolant.
I usually get about 4 gallons of distilled water and buy full strength then pour half my full strength into an empty and top off with distilled water.
In a hurry I use 50/50 too
Milk carton gaskets are better, they're coated for liquids.
Yes done it. We lived in BFE Kentucky for several years, was 30 minutes each way to a parts store
First time I have seen two caps for the cooling system, one for the radiator. one for the reservoir tank.
My 09 frontier had this same issue. Idle would give 0 heat but while driving would heat up. Never really looked into it and I eventually sold it lol.
I enjoy seeing a pro using a magnetic parts tray. Nothing more annoying than a pro throwing bolts, nuts and other parts all over the place. As for the missed radiator hose, I would trust you with my Mule any day ('06 Jeep Wrangler).
Hello Sir! My husband is a huge follower and I adore your wife! But I can't find her channel it gives me someone else. Can you please help thank you.
People ….. when you have a little extra cash ….. DON'T go to the track ….. go to the mechanic
Every town needs a clone of Eric and Mrs. O. to run a a honest and reliable shop.
What brand recirculating heater core cleaning pump/reservoir do you use for severely clogged heater core and/or radiators?
The hot wrench works wonders on them nissan connectors.
Crystler of the imports??? No way, all Nissans aren’t junk until they are.
When you are really cold, most of winter is yet to come and you trust your mechanic — just fix it is an appropriate answer.
