Jesus… Why? Do they make it look so easy

Bjr . Vos vidéos sont instructives . Nous sommes dans les pays francophones , nous voulons que vous les fassiez en français , elles nous aideront plus . Moi je suis mécanicien automobilisre . Merci.

KENNAN HUNT says:

So I reset everything to match the rear timing cover…… but the bank 1 cam phaser is 1 link off from the dark link on the chain.

We went back in because we originally got a P0011 code after the first timing job.

If I was to rotate that cam phaser to the left one or two links to match the dark Link on that side….That cam phaser wouldn’t match the timing marks on the rear timing Cover.

And doing so….wouldn’t that advance that cam phaser throwing the P0011 code again??

KENNAN HUNT says:

The reason I’m asking is because when I set the timing originally….the cpu threw a P0011 code every time I turned the vehicle off and back on.

There also developed a ticked that sounds now like a knock

KENNAN HUNT says:

Question…..when I reset timing on bank 1 head….the number 3 cylinder intake valve is in the open position and also spring loaded making it so hard to keep it from moving.

Is this correct?

Mark Duffield says:

Thank you. I just bought the maxima with this engine. I purchased a Honda Accord from a guy on the way home the timing BELT broke and munched the engine.
Is there a recommended timing chain interval? 100,000 miles or?? I just don't want to run into the same situation as the Honda.

Ivan Ginorio says:

Everything is so much easier with the Engine out of the car

Burro El Burro says:

Si cambio la bomba de agua sin quitar la tapa del tiempo …puede haber problema que se brinque la cadena …o sigo los pasos

Bill Castaneda says:

Is there timing marks on the engine block itself? Or is it just good enough to the keep them at the 10 o’clock(left side), 2 o’clock(right side) position and 5 o’clock position? ( crankshaft)?

Dron Samaniego says:
