What’s covered:
Nissan Versa Haynes Repair Manual covering all models of Versa for 2007-2019
PLEASE NOTE that this manual is intended for vehicles built to US specifications and do not cover diesel models unless specifically stated. Although it is useful when the products or systems are similar to those in other markets, there may still be significant differences, especially in areas concerned with safety and emission control.
How about changing the upper thermostat also. My 2009 versa has an upper and lower thermostat. Don't do half the job.
What does changing the thermostat do?
Unfortunately this guide omits an important step and that's the thermostat o-ring must be secured and sealed in place on the engine with appropriate sealant. This is how the engine is from the factory. Fail to do this and it will look like its fixed but it will leak and the new o-ring will be damaged and in need of replacement at further hassle and expense.
This doesn’t help since my 2017 Nissan Versa sv doesn’t look anything like this ugh
Thanks! It helped me a lot, just by removing the reservoir out It showed me where was the drain 🙂
Thanks . Recently I changed my car nissan tiida 2011 radiator because of some leaking and after that my car was showing overheating when i drive 60 / 70 km. and i can feel my car was giving small vibration before the overheat indicator. So i do stop the car aside road again fill the water . I can’t see any external water leakage. A/C is working perfectly and heat is not working. I recently changed water pump too. I am tired of this pls can you advice me.
This is a very helpful video! The best I've seen thank you
That's a big "to do" just to replace a thermostat. Sounds planned by the manufacturer, so they get you to go to the dealership to get it fixed or buy a new car. Jerks.
Get a set of line clamps, so you don't always have to lose, all your coolant
Hi? What's the engine cc for USDM Versa?
Thanks for only doing half the job so that my ride still overheats
