andrew starritt says:

Just curious what symptoms you were having that lead to the change? Thanks!

Leo Soto DeSotto says:

good job, you still have the xterra?

Noah Tibbetts says:

@rythecarguy Why did you replace the throttle body? What were your issues? I have a high rpm (2500) at startup and relatively high (1100) when warmed up.

Jared S says:

Hey Ryan, went to unscrew the throttle body and wasn’t wanting to come off. Working on a budget here, do you know of any good mechanic shops in Orlando that’ll use my part to install the throttle body for a little bit cheaper or another way I can try and get the bolts out without stripping them?

Joel Martinez says:

Do I need to disconnect the battery.?

Alvin Cole says:

Hey Ry, Another great video as always. Any issues with this particular throttle body? Just ordered mine with your link. Planned to originally just take off my oem one to clean but after Watching your video I decided to replace.

generic dude says:

Is there a torque setting for those TB bolts?

M,GONZALEZ says:

I m going to change on the Nissan Pathfinder 2013 wath is the procedure I have to disconnect the battery?

Christy.huffmanstarseed says:

Can you do a replacement of a TCM on the Xterra?

Thato Soafo says:

Thank you now I know. You helped me with my car it would Crank but wouldn't start hopefully this will be fix it. Diagnosis said error "Valvematic Actuator" it's toyota.

Razor36 says:

My reman Cardone TB is on the way via Amazon. Thanks to you Ry for the heads up on the reman. Price has gone up to $138 like everything else we buy (tires are at insane prices) but still nowhere close to $770! Cardone does offer a "new" one vs the reman but the whole thing is built and made in China. I'll stick with a reman Japanese. Your videos are just like having a visual factory service manual to do stuff the right way.

rick carp says:

what was wrong with it codes? my truck will get a code and then will not rev and or move

Adriana says:

I had this problem in my 2007 pathfinder 2 years ago and bought a reman part now it came back and warranty over. I did have a question when you remove the part do you disconnect the battery or leave it? Last time we disconnect and when we tried to erase the code it wouldnt had to take it to a mwchanic who uses a more high tech machine

Kris Redinger says:

Very helpful, I am doing this today using your content.

Zac Thomas says:

The bolts coming out in a specific order is called a torque sequence, as is putting them in in reverse. This is done to avoid warping a part.

AgerWorks says:

On my 07 X the hose on the front of the throttle body has a slit going all the way along the side. It looks deliberate. What would you call that hose? I’m having a hard time finding it.

the kingdom says:

What if I used aftermarket electric throttle

David B says:

thank you; very helpful info

old rabidus says:

You’re the reason why my 06 X is still on the road! Thanks!

Andremamp - Marcos Andre says:

nice video. I missed the part you put coolant fluid back. Thanks.

Nick Vasile says:

Nice video! I have an 09 Pathfinder and just ordered a replacement throttle body. My question is after replacing the throttle body, should the relearn procedure be done before starting the engine?

PracticePatch says:

Great video thank you. I had intermittent lumpy/rough idling. Did diagnostics and gave P1122, which points at this throttle controller. So great to see how to swap it out. Thanks again!
