And to tell you I am ASE certified mechanic

Terry Copeland says:

That's quite a bit of work and a good video. I don't know what your circumstances are and why you had to replace your cvt but most people im guessing don't know that the fluid and filter or filters(some have 2)have to be changed every 30,000 to 50,000 miles with a cvt or your into no man's land as to when it will fail because of the metallic drive belt. My wife and I rented a nissan sentra for vacation last year and it was very smooth shifting and great on gas. Even a conventional automatic transmission needs to have the fluid and filter changed and pumped or vacuumed through every 75,000 to 100,000 miles. I hope you get good service from your replacement.

CVT: I am in the market for a used SUV. I like the Murano but I am not going to buy one. To many reports of CVT transmission problems.

Roman Grigorev says:

Great video! Now I feel more confident to remove the transmission on my Quest. One notice though: always replace rear main seal while you're in there. (That's the reason I'm about to do it – that Aisin transmission is still fine.)
