Great video! I'm replacing an alternator on an 06 Nissan Altima 3.5L. And I have a stripped nut on the pulley, that has be loosened before I can release tension off the belt. Only thing is the wheel well is in the way, and I can't get a socket on there. Do you think it's possible to release the Motor mount, dropping the engine to get to this nut with a socket?

Very helpful as always. Mine was complicated by the fact that the front body-side bolt pulled out the threads from the body with it, requiring some drilling and fishing a bolt through from the bottom of the frame rail. Also, the Anchor brand that I purchased was not drilled properly and the bolt (middle) on the engine side did not line up with the threads. It was offset by around 2-3mm.

As everyone on this thread has said – this is a truly excellent video of how to replace the front engine mount. The part you mentioned 11210-8j100, the link asked me for my make and model Maxima 2003 – V6 GLE and it said that it will not fit. Is there another one that will work for my car? BTW need to replace both the front & right engine mounts.
just changed another one you dont need to remove fuse box just overflow container . that all only took 35mins.

Nissan does not manufacture their replacement part. They come from another source and label them as original OEM. This is the reason that aftermarket parts last he same or longer. Great video thanks for sharing.
