Christopher Godfrey says:

My local dealer wanted $182.00 for this job. Wow.

Richard Kalmus says:

My quote must be the biggest of all! Nissan (bellevue) $249, WOW!! $7 for
gasket, and 1.4 hrs labor. That is $150 a hour labor? My question is how
are these car dealerships going out of business?, and that we just accept
it, and how they can live with themselves?

roluardo says:

You can get it from Nissan dealer. I mention the part number for Nissan
Quest 2006 here: videosdiy.blogspot.com. Give them that part number and
have them verify that it is compatible with your year.

Drew Blanchard says:

Great video! BIG HELP!

DarkKnight says:

Mine was worst than Richard (below). Nissan Altima – $ 290. I mean, I
understand that the dealership basically runs out of car maintenance, but
they should have an acceptable limit on ripping off their customers!

excellent video

MrPiRaTeBaKeD says:

thank you did it to mine works great, i took one hose off to turn it
sideways but then had to leave radiator cap off and add antifreeze some air
got it so wait for fans to kick in and keep adding until full

andre mattos says:

good video.. i have a question.. how many foot pound you put on the torque?
thanks a lot!

andre mattos says:

good job!! i did all that on my 3.5 altima and now i’m gonna do the same
thing on 05 murano.. same engime? i’m pretty sure..

Jdeppismine says:

Where did u buy the o ring? I called parts store but can’t find that seal.

roluardo says:

No need to drain the coolant. video description: videosdiy.blogspot.com

superman4ever1986 says:

My wife was tripping that I didn’t do it at Firestone, but for a part that
is 20 bucks and labor 140. I’m happy I did it myself. Little things you can
do yourself and other need to be at the shop.

TheFisurman says:

Thanks for posting this video. I changed my oil cooler gasket in our 204
Nissan Quest this morning after the Nissan dealership quoted me $220 to do
it. After watching this video I knew they were over charging me. So $20
later and a loner torque wrench from Advanced Auto Parts, my garage floor
no longer requires kitty litter and constantly adding oil to our fan is a
thing of the past. Thanks again.

I Just Love Football says:

I dream on the day that will order our cars online. I decided to not take
my car to any mechanic and do it myself. So best advice, start investing in
tools.

roluardo says:

Looking at the diagram it looks similar so I will think it should be the
same. Let us know.

rubenmolina1764 says:

Great video i was thinking of having the dealer do this for me but seen how
simple it is i will do it myself thanks to u

pacovmax5 says:

YOU ARE AWESOME!!! PLEASE keep up the GREAT work! THANKS AGAIN!!!

lagoskid says:

I was quoted $255 on my Infiniti FX35 lol. Same O-ring. I’ll be doing this
on the weekend. Good questions, though.

tlfoster67 says:

Great video. Tires Plus quoted me $140.00 only after I took it back to them
3 times after an oil change and I kept seeing oil on the garage floor. Do
you have to have a torque wrench and if so. What is the proper torque for a
2007 Nissan Quest?

808nation says:

My frontier 2006 model has the same problem where oil leaks. Is it the same
way to chance out the o ring?

roluardo says:

Same torque as my 2006 Quest: the torque for the oil cooler bolt is 36
ft-lb and 13 ft-lb for the oil filter. Good Luck!

pacovmax5 says:

What torque did u use on the tube/nut? Thank you very much for the video!

khaldoon alrawi says:

thank you so much

echotrooper1855 says:

Great video, gonna try it. Did u have to drain the coolant/antifreez before
doing this

clumsukes818 says:

I just did this lol. Thank you very much. I love you tube.

basher0219 says:

Jdeppismine says:

fastcache says:
