I repalced mine on a 2007 Nissan Maxima bought it at Advanced Auto Parts and makes some Whining noise between times now is quiet and works good. Will try to buy a Bosch brand Fuel Pump. Carquest quality is not good.
i just replaced my 04 maximas fuel pump with a carquest brand fuel pump cause my car was not cranking on 1st attempt sometimes, it always cranked on 2nd attempt. I'm happy to say the problem was resolved with replacement but now I'm getting a whining noise coming from the new pump? what would cause this problem? cheap aftermarket part?

You forgot to include adding new fuel prior to charging the pump.
What if you don't have the item to bleed the fuel out? Is it absolutely necessary to bleed the fuel out?
