00:04 Set parking brake and shift to
neutral
00:15 Remove the shift knob
00:55 Remove trim panel below monitor
01:45 Remove one screw and remove the control panel
02:27 Remove two screws, the radio AC panel, and
the light panel beneath
04:04 Remove the air vent panel
05:23 Remove four screws and the metal spacer bracket
05:59 Remove OEM monitor
06:52 Remove two lower screws and
pull radio forward
07:50 Disassemble the OEM monitor
12:34 Install CarPlay Sub Board, LVDS cable,
and Sub Data Cable, then reassemble
24:43 Connect DCU main cable
26:25 Connect CarPlay MIC cable
27:46 Route the Sub Data cable and LVDS cable and
reconnect OEM monitor
31:31 Connect iPod harness
33:18 Connect the External Speaker to the
CarPlay USB cable and route the USB cable
34:31 Route the CarPlay cables into passenger
