I heard that if you do not hook up a spare battery to the terminals first your computer looses it's memory and has to be re-flashed.
Good video but next time please clean the terminals with a wire brush!! Very helpful since I need to do this on a friend's car and I hadn't seen the setup!! I ban proceed with confidence
