Start on the driver’s side of your vehicle. Most blades are held in place with a tiny clip. Push that clip up towards the arm and push the blade backwards, as if you were sliding it down the wiper arm. Once the blade is free from the hook, push the blade a few inches down the arm to disconnect it. When the hook is fully visible, the blade will be free and can be taken off. Position the new blade so that the the hook is pointing at the wiper attachment. The hook will go over the top of the attachment. Pull the blade toward the end of the arm. You’ll hear a click when it locks into position. You’re all finished with the driver’s side. Repeat the process on the passenger side of your Altima.
I still don't understand I need help.
Thank you ! Very helpful for idiots like me
the new windshielp wipers have that slide yellow piece……..am I need to slide it out and throw it away or keep it???
This video is 7 years old and still works like a charm… Thanks for making this video
Helpful video
Thank you! Way better than my owner's manual…
Okay so I broke the tab .. now what?
Before removing old blade put a folded towel on glass (in case naked tip of arm is accidently forcefully struck on glass (ouch expensive chipped glass) !!
It's been YEARS since I did this! This video is the greatest HELP! Short, straight to the point, FRIENDLY and it shows the secret "TAB" between the wiper and the arm!!! THANK YOU!!!
Nothing irritates me more than the fact that blade installation is not universal and every time I change blades it's like watching a shitshow.
This worked for my Nissan Cube. Had to watch a few videos but this one was best. I was missing the part where it said to push down on the other videos to release the wiper. This part was very clearly explained here.
Thanks!
I watched the video, (thanks), but for my 2015 Murano you pull the tab down and the blade comes right off. I pushed about 10 times to no avail, but pull the tab down and bingo!
my uncle used pliers and destroyed the entire mechanism. Dealer wants $326 to replace
I'm not sure why I needed to watch this, but I did. (Thanks for saving me a bit of frustration.)
what about how to just use replacement rubber part of the wipers? (Not the whole assembly?)
Nice…easy simple and very good on explaining the simplicity of the process…cool beans and thanks !
No e won't come off
October 16, 2017: Silly question 'cause I donut know. Nissan Xetrra 2010 what size should I buy. I live in Mexico. Thank anyone kindly.
can you use bosch window wipers on a nissan? are all window wiper replacement compatible? I know my measurements for both driver and passanger side, but wasnt sure if they were a universal fit thing.
Worked for my Nissan Maxima. Thank you!
Statement by the gentleman in the video as this doesn't wok for all nissan's. Wife has a 2014 sentra and you need to some wizardry whizz to unlock the wiper arm as it hits the hood.
is this the same for all Nissans? I have a LEAF
