Well i am glad that people are still viewing this and that i could help. I
got rid of the truck after a dozen other issues and started costing more
and more. I appreciate the great feedback guys….

Mic Lee says:

Is that a shirt from Barbados – Mount Gay Rum you are wearing?

Sheila5194 says:

Is it similar this kind of change you did with the coils for a Pathfinder
2006? I need to change mine I think, since my gasoline dissapears way to
fast. 🙁 If you know any video which may cover my problem Ill thank you a
lot for it! Good video!!

Doug Porter says:

Jeff Im going to give this a shot tomorrow. Thanks for posting it. You are
the only one who has posted for a 2001 – 2002 Nissan Pathfinder. I have
never worked on my Vehicles and just cant afford to take it in to a
mechanic anymore. Wish me luck. I will post my progress. Oh and keep adding
videos for the Pathfinder if you do any more work please. Thanks. Doug
Porter

Thanks for the How to Video. Been meaning to do this for sometime now on my
Pathy, Just over 200,000 KMs on all original plugs and coils. Noticed
its starting to run rough and idle poorly when cold, so got to do sooner
than later. Was hesitant but now feel better cause us regular guys need to
stick together. Always great to save big bucks…….

Hi Jeff, i have a query. My pathy has a starting problem. It gets 1 click
to start in the morning but when i used it and turned off the engine for
like 2 to 3 hours or so, it gets hard to start. It needs 2 to 3 trials to
get it start. I noticed also that when i step on the accelerator it doesn’t
get that speed i had before…is it the Ignition Coil or Fuel filter or
fuel pump? i’ve already changed the fuel filter below near the gas tank.
please help me out what’s the problem.

jeff tryzbiak says:

I havent looked at this in a long time. Sorry

i need to know what are the right tools that u used for this mechanical
work !!!! i most change the ones on my truck too same nissan same 4 by 4
same pathfinder 2001

I only had to remove the flexible air inlet hose between the throttle body
and air box to access the driver side coils. Not sure why you removed the
whole air box assembly, seems like unnecessary work. And you should’ve
changed the spark plugs while you were there. Also, the right side is the
passenger side, the left side is the driver side. You keep saying “left
side” when you’re actually refering to the passenger side and “right side”
when referring to the driver side.

You helped me save my arse and $600.00 bucks with this. Thanks for the post.

jeff tryzbiak says:

Wow Someone actualy watched it. Cool. Glad i could help

jeff tryzbiak says:

Really dont know. If your saying when its hot it won’t start it sounds like
a starter is going bad . But if you’re saying it is losing power than that
could be something completely different. Power loss could be a million
issues. Im sorrry but not enough info

Sleepygiganticus says:

Sound was great. I loved the occasional dulcite tones of a Mel Torme.
But….why wouldn’t you change the plugs at the same time? You’ve done all
the hard work.

Patrick Sharpton says:

Thanks for the video. Had to change one out this morning and this was
extremely helpful.

daniel leon says:

is the same engine? i have an pathfinder but, is 1995, how many ignition
coils i must to change ?

jeff tryzbiak says:

I cant remember. Sold truck last year. Sorry

jeff tryzbiak says:

Great! Glad to help

winfiol1 says:

This is such a helpful video ! my pathfinder 2003 is having the same issue
and i’m gonna definitely do this. Please upload anything else like this you
that you got- really cool !

chris quonce says:

Dude this is awesome….did you get the p1320 code from the check engine
light, or were you just replacing these as maintence….im not trying to
have a mechanic do this if its really that simple, but i have narrowed it
down to being ignition coil, not sure which one so might as well do them
all im guessing…

jeff tryzbiak says:

I changed the pluggs just a few months prior… Thats why….

jeff tryzbiak says:

Left right right left. You all got it…. Thanks
