richpin06a says:

Misfires are ignition-related. 9/10 of the time.

Phillip Barrios says:

I have a 2001 Nissan Altima and the P0340 code was pending on my code
reader. I have had a P0304 CEL code come up and have spent a lot of time
and money trying to diagnosis this problem. Would a bad camshaft position
sensor cause a misfire?

Jessica Lyons says:

Metal piece broke off of old sensor while pulling it out.any advice on
getting it out magnet didnt work

richpin06a says:

The crank sensors are much different, maybe because they had a problem with
the original ones.

abemotorsports says:

I noticed aftermarket cam/crank sensors look different from the originals
in those vehicles

robbracks says:

How about an 03 Pathfinder 3.5 litre?

richpin06a says:

@lcuellar79 I believe they are the same.

Tahir Hanif says:

A little harder because you have two of them on the 3.5L

theborg says:

I had both sensors replaced on my 2005 350Z. The Nissan dealership charged

Terri Gillette says:

Is it the same on a 2005 Altima?

Randy Jefferson says:

how about the 3.5 Altima 2002

Kirsten Jones says:

Will this be as easy to replace on a 2003 Nissan Murano?

cebell71 says:

@richpin06a …which is in the distributor? Thanks for the help!

cebell71 says:

@cebell71 Just thought I’d let you know I replaced the distributor and the
truck started right up. Thanks again for all of your insight!

richpin06a says:

The 02 and 05 2.5 are in the same place.

teganjaz says:

Wow, headlight went out on my 2005 Altima, dealer wanted to charge me $114
plus parts to replace. Watched a video and did it myself. Now the Camshaft
Sensor may need to be replaced, dealer wants $99 to run diagnostic, other
area mechanics want $75 – $85 to run diagnostic. The cost to replace sensor
averaging $300 bucks.

youngbull360 says:

gaae2000 says:

Thx so much, I have a 2005 Murano and the cam sensors had to be replaced

Thank you for this video friend… Nissan was going to charge me $200.00
just for the labor.. I thumbs you up

mikeybarratt says:

@theborg That’s nuts! Sorry about that man. I think I’m going to get a
diagnostic test run and find out which sensors are acting up and try to fix
it myself. Might blow my car apart, but at least I wont be paying those
crooks. Not very good logic, but that’s ok 🙂

jessica maddox says:

i have a 04 nissan maxima se automatic the cam sensor is bad as well as the
tps my car changes gears on its own and will get stuck into fifth and then
if its stuck in fifth its hard to crank ive been told the cam sensor could
be making the tps seem bad is this true or from what ive described does it
sound like both and can you tell me where the cam sensor is on my car?

Durang0420 says:

where are the crankshaft position sensors for a 04 maxima? Its a 6 speed
manual.

Tyler Hamilton says:
