I was able to do this without removing glove box…..I saw other videos where others have sprayed some Lysol in there and in vents to kill germs, I did this car smells GREAT!…….
BRILLIANT!!! Who knew it was that easy!!! The owner’s manual just tells you to take it to the dealership–what a ripoff!!!
That’s great! We’re glad our video could help!
Your nissan dealer should stock them.
Awesome!!!! now I can do this myself.. thank you dude!
ELECTRIC SCREWDRIVER
We’re glad you could save some money with help from our video!
It does use a paper filter but I don’t know where you would purchase it in Australia.
Where can I buy the filter in Brisbane, Australia? My local Super Cheap Auto shop doesn’t supply the filter but said a foam filter from rubber shops was all I needed. Yet looking at the filter in that video it looks more like a paper type filter. Any suggestions?
You’re welcome! We’re glad you could change it yourself!
Thank you !!!! I saved a lot of money by changing it myself after watching this video…It only costs me 17 bucks. The dealership wanted me to pay 99 dollars which is a rip off…Once again thank you.
Thanks for the info!
this is not 100% accurate for HK version. there is a secure horizontal bar to be removed first to remove the filter.
I’m glad we helped you save some money!
Thanks a lot, this was extremely helpful/cost efficient.
Yeah, it should take you less than 30 minutes to change your cabin air filter. We’re glad you found the video helpful!
Quiet Zone wanted to charge me 270.00 for parts and labor! This is easily done within less than 30 minutes? Thank you for posting this!
We’re glad you could save some money by learning to do it yourself!
Dealer wanted $89.99 to do this. LMFAO. Gonna do this on my girls car this week for $15
We’re glad we could help you save some money!
Dealer wants $70 dollars and the filter costs $20. Thank you for an excellant video and saving me $50!!!
Your welcome!
thanks
Excellent video. This hels a lot. I probably saved about $50.
Next time i’ll see if i can come by an STP one here in Canada. $50 for an incabin air filter-outragious.A stock air filter at the dealer cost $30. I tried a K& N and a Fram and found the stock works best.
I just went to autozone today, November 11/11/11, and bought an STP for $15.
One thing to keep in mind if your working on 2007 hatchback model: is be aware of the housing clips the filter attached in place with. I was unable to see the top clip part and broke it off, so I suggest using extreme care when trying to get the old one out.
Thanks for providing this well put together video.
I paid $50 for a new filter at the Nissan dealership today as of Nov 3,2011.
What does Filterhead charge?
Thank you so much for putting this video together. It was very descriptive. The close up shots and narration were especially helpful. Again, thank you!
Thanks!
Hey this is great! I wish I’d seen this before I paid my (still awesome) mechanic $30 to change it. At least it wasn’t $80!
Can I get filterheads in Canada? Or is there somewhere else youd’ suggest, since i’d rather not shell out for shipping?
Thanks for posting! Very useful!
Thanks for posting and not assuming any knowledge at all. Very helpful.
Can you please post the part number and where you purchased the filter? Thanks for this cause my service is about due
Thanks for posting. The Nissan dealer wanted $80 to do this. Did this in 10 minutes for $18.
Thanks for posting. Easy job.
