Always put grease on the axle end before you put it back in. The grease makes the ring stay in place so it won’t get stuck. I got that tip from one of the top internet mechanics Scotty Kilmer. It works like a charm. Stick the axle end in a tub of bearing grease. Take care and I enjoyed your wonderful video.

The same thing happened to me. I have to take the strut off in order to put the axle back in every time. I’ve tried to do it like I see everyone is doing it in the internet but to no success. After I take the strut out it goes in so much easier. I’m sure this is all about how strong your arms are. I’ve read that the straighter you hold the cv axle the easier it goes in. I’m going to always take the strut out because it’s so much easier. I’ve been looking for someone who took the strut out and now I’m happy. I knew that this method was the easiest way to do it. You’ve proved me right. I know these guys with super strong arms can do it without taking the strut out. I’m only interested in what makes it easy for me. Thank you so very much for your excellent video. You made my day!!!

this is such a pain in the ****! I swear I tried, but mine is a non-slip cv axle :l 18mm bolt with a 19mm nut on the strut.
