I’m gonna do this also mine came on today ….
Im going to do this right now
I changed mine on 2011 Altima and got a "remanufactured" one from O'Reilly's..it didn't clear the check engine light, so I had O'Reilly's clear the code..two days later the check engine light came back on. I changed the air filter and disconnected my battery to clear the check engine light again, two days later the light came back on. Finally I took the car to Nissan and had them put in a new one and it worked. At least O'Reilly gave me my money back on the remanufactured one, that obviously didn't work. So what I've learned now from buying an aftermarket key FOB and now a mas air flow sensor…ONLY BUY FROM NISSAN..the key fob worked two engine starts and then quit and yes I changed the battery on it. So these aftermarket electronics are hit or miss, and it's not worth the time and effort to save money when the part doesn't work.
