Thank you ! Nissan wants 200 in parts and 200 in labor for this job.

gerson5526 says:

Thank you for this vid! I hit my mirror on a pole and I was gonna take it
to the dealer and I’m sure get ripped on price! Now I can do it myself!
Thanks again!

salvatore d'amico says:

Hello, Very informative video. Thank you very much. I wonder if you know –
how to remove to cover of old mirror and – where can I find a heated mirror
for 2012 Sentra SL Thanks again

SDG says:

It takes a 10mm metric socket to loosen the bolts. A non-metric socket will
NOT fit

Davis Walsh says:

Just replaced mine, thanks for the help!

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

I can’t say for sure if it’s exactly the same,, but it should be very
similar. I have never done a 2012 so I don’t know if it’s identical or not,
but manufacturers are usually pretty good at keeping the basic procedures
the same between years.

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

Oh yeah, there is nothing worse than dropping a nut down into the dark
chasm of the door. I don’t blame you for getting new nuts rather than
tearing the car apart to get to those nuts! Glad you got your mirror fixed!

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

You are welcome!! πŸ™‚

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

On this particular car, all that was needed was a 10mm deep socket and a
ratchet.

dscurtis44 says:

YES YES YES thank You!

Mauricio Garcia says:

@Shatabhisha that happen to me too!

sergenikov says:

Thank you very much for the video. I don’t know if you’re monitoring this
at this point, but is it more difficult to replace a mirror on a 2007
sentra that is NOT powered, but with a lever? Thanks in advance.

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

We are still reading all the comments, although I am a few days behind
answering them πŸ™‚ . The Manual mirror on your car is an identical procedure
to the power, except for the electrical plug, everything else is identical.

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

It’s just a socket wrench, but the head is flexible so the handle can be
bent at different angles.

Auto Parts Direct To You says:

The 2011 Sentra procedure should be just about the same if not identical.

ACoolGuyForFun says:

Thanks for the video. What type and size socket wrench do I need? Thanks!

Hanie Tart says:

OMG thank you for this video! I was wondering if its the exact same
procedure on a 2012 sentra?

misspmorgan87 says:

Thanks! I just got my mirror yesterday and installed it, but it’s good to
note that the nuts are 10mm because my husband dropped two of the three
inside the door (*eyeroll*) and I had to use the old bolt to size it. It’s
metric, not US standard.

joecabassa says:

It took me 15 minutes, including unpacking the parts. Thanx a million!!!!

misspmorgan87 says:

Does this work with a 2011 Sentra? I just dinked my mirror off at the drive
thru!

vonkai says:

just what I was looking for. Thanks !

swaggdnttripp says:

warnutztheloser says:

dgierow says:

Great video! I replaced a mirror on a 2010 model with a part ordered from
Auto Parts Warehouse. Went on exactly as you showed. Thanks.

Skruff75 says:

Nissan quoted me $545 for parts, labor and painting. Ordered my replacement
mirror yesterday, will be installing it on Friday myself… all for $50
Thanks APDTY!
