Where did you get the step motor part from…no part store has them and Nissan stated that I have to get the whole transmission?

Ali Mohamed says:

I have the same code on my 2013 nissan murano

Lou Wap says:

I had replaced the valve body with a new stepper motor and all new solenoids. Car stays in first gear. Was told trans had to get reflashed?

Nissan has a problem.. I've owned two in the last 5 yrs.. First one, shame on Nissan.. Second one, shame on me. I don't recommend Nissan to anyone, because the CVT will fail. My first one failed at or around 80 thousand miles.. The second one failed just a few days ago, at 87K. It'll cost you around $3 grand to replace, and once the trans starts to slip, you'll get a P17F0 code.. which won't clear unless you can drive a cycle without the belt slipping.

James Neal says:

What if it isn't throwing any codes but is responding the same as you described. Mine is a 2010 2.5L. I can have full throttle, the RPMs will go up but the car doesn't accelerate.

Good Job!! I guess you got more then 50 likes…..

Stephen Champagne says:

I have a 2010 maxima and the description at the beginning of the video where your flooring it and going no where similar problem but my code is p0746 pressure control solenoid “A” stuck off so I’ll be replacing the whole valve body that comes with all new solenoids. I searched for DAYS for solenoids it was way faster just getting the valve body and not to expensive $150 so it’s coming in Wednesday so I hope it works my buddy who worked at Nissan dealership told me to start pricing out new/used transmissions well I’ll spend 150 to see if it works because I’ve watched 4/5 videos with all my problems and it fixed it so fingers crossed

ELECTRIC ROSE says:

George Acker says:

Does this apply to the 2010 Nissan Sentra?

Darrell O'Neal says:

Sir, you are a blessing in the highest order. Your use of the small allen to retain the shift lever is simple and should be intuitive but intuitive in this case comes with a tall learning curve. While some may not understand or appreciate the value of your video but for those undertaking replacement of the stepper motor, it is simply enormous. Your commitment and willingness to help others are admirable. THANK YOU!!!

Alfonso Bernabe says:

I have no codes but weak acceleration and I hear a winding noise do you know if you were hearing a winding noise when accelerating with your car as well?
