and the wrench was starting to strip it as well. But glad you got it off.

KatanaiBlade says:

is it the same in a 99 rs?

DatManGsx says:

@redi4axion He obviously knew it came out since he lubed it up in the
beginning.

KiidBizarre says:

i got a 96 and i got that fuel line to come off up top using the same toolz
you used to get them off under the car. it wasnt impossible but hard

thungar1475 says:

You wouldn’t want to mess this up by putting your dirty oily rag in the
hole lol

jjrock5 says:

@redi4axion Trust me I Tried to pull off that top line and it was starting
to strip…had to do it. No big deal, really.

Nick MacFarlane says:

same shit on a 1g?

tuneinfornewstuff says:

why not just use a lock ring wrench to remove the fuel pump from the tank,
and use fuel line removal tool to get the fuel line off, they sell both of
them at the auto parts stores. Makes things a whole lot easier.

redi4axion says:

Why did you cut your car crazy guy? You know the line comes off from the
sending unit too. Its also a good idea to open the gas cap to relieve
pressure if you just got done driving it. Another great video.

romeo martinez says:

Is it really neccessary to undo that line under the car?

noooblover says:

this is sooo helpfull. saves me money.. i can do it myself now

Jake Fogg says:

you actually could have pulled it with the line attached to the hanger.
While under the car you feed the loose end back up into the cabin. Then get
into the cabin and pull it through. You will then be able to pull the
assembly without removing the line from the hanger or cutting the car.

DALE97DSM says:

I wish it was this easy for removing the 2gb 420a fuel pump.

DALE97DSM says:

jjrock5, would I have to cut same place for installing one on the 420a. My
fuel pump is in same location but non turbo 🙁 But I like my mpg. lol

jwuesthoff2011 says:
