Starting another new project. This is a new construction home that will be fully insulated with spray foam. The HVAC design will be a 3 zone Mitsubishi ductless system. In this video, I start on the rough-in process before the sheetrock guys do their thing. I’ll be running refrigerant lines, power/communicating cables, and drain lines. On this project I’m trying out a new product that I think will help in protecting my refrigerant lines, its called a Rough-in Box. Designed for high wall ductless installation. Great product for rough in. I prefer to run 3/4” pvc to basement rather than pump at unit.

Great video. When doing an interior wall install for the indoor unit, is it preferable to surface mount the line sets and wires in case one of the refrigerant lines develops a leak over time? thanks
You don't have to use fire stop material in Tennessee? The electrician used it.

Now the best part of this video is the fact that you show to the rest of the world and the people I don't live in tornado Alley area or hurricane zones why houses collapse all the time in America they are nothing but twigs that can be blown down easily I still don't understand after 27 years of being in this country why they build these houses like this to where they can be blown over so easily

Mitsubishi has been real hard to get on the multi zone ODUs. I’m selling Bosch as well now too.
