Nice video. I do have a question. Could you run a whole house off of this?
Or would you need a seperate unit for each room? I understand you would
need an inside unit for each room, but could they be ran off of a single
outside unit? Also, do they heat and cool? Thank you!!!

Han Solo says:

Nice video. I’m looking at a mini split and have gotten several estimates
but all the estimates I’ve gotten have been really high prices.

solarmines says:

Is the Mitsubishi MUZ-GE15NA a 115 volt system or a 208 / 230 volt system

T&N Services LLC. says:

Hey solar, the MUZ is 208/230.

T&N Services LLC. says:

I don’t even understand this comment!!!! I’m a diamond contractor with
Mitsubishi I buy my equipment from a supply house who buy’s from
Mitsubishi, and not off some truck in an alley, I certainly did not buy
this thing on-line at some cut rate price!!!!

T&N Services LLC. says:

Hey Kentucky, that unit is by far the best on the market!!!!! When it comes
to a normal AC unit I really could care less as to the brand that someone
has, but when it comes time for a mini split it’s Mitsubishi all the way.
As far as cost goes they can be put in for around $3300 to $4500. I got
this one as a personal use so I got it for cost.

The460hvacdude says:

yep I hope so!!

T&N Services LLC. says:

Thanks Dallas, I love my mini split. Its my goal to put one in every ones
house!!!! LOL

T&N Services LLC. says:

Thanks its pretty easy to have a nice looking install when your doing one
of these. LOL They pretty much put themselves in!!!!!!

JMGPhila says:

Samsung is better. And how much for this installed? There is nothing to
installing one of these. My 70 year old grandmother could do it with
minimal instruction. But it costs much less than as posted. 3700 to 4200
could get a large tri-zone condenser and three indoor units to do more of
your home. Don’t overpay. That is absurd.

T&N Services LLC. says:

Thanks Fritz!!!! That thing is as you say NEXT LEVEL!!!!!! Best part is is
stay’s at an even 71 degrees never hits 72. Best thing Ive ever bought!!!!!

patrick martin says:

Thanks for the video…Installing a 18k Hyper heat mr slim unit this
weekend…what might be helpful would be some comparisons in your video of
other appliances and heating systems and the amount of amperage they
use…for someone who does not understand electricity the amperage use
might not mean much…

T&N Services LLC. says:

From your comment you must either be a pissed off homeowner or you work for
an internet company that sales mini splits online. Your right your
grandmother could put this in, but I f you ask the manufacturer they would
say keep your grandmother away from it and have a pro put it in!!!!

Ralph Aldape says:

How much?

The460hvacdude says:

Very nice unit! Nothing can beat a Mr Slim, especially how quiet it is!

Fritz Rochester says:

Hey Ralph !!! Lookin GOOD Brother !!! Damn Dude Freakin Awesome !!!
Absolutley Brother , who Cares , Hardly ANY AMP Draw at ALL !!! Great Job
Brother !!!

T&N Services LLC. says:

Thanks for the comment I changed the name

Brian Smith says:

The Mitsubishi mini split looks like it’s the best unit out there on the
market now. How much did that unit cost?

T&N Services LLC. says:

Zack there is nothing better then a Mr. Slim. I know that must mini’s a
very quiet but there’s just something about Mitsubishi

T&N Services LLC. says:

This job installed would run you about $3200 to $3400 depending on where
your power is to be ran from how long the lineset is and what part of the
country your in.

T&N Services LLC. says:

Learn all you can about them!!!! If I have my way every house in Georgia
will have one!!!!! So when you go out and start your first job you may see
one!!!!!

Andrea Hana says:

Perhaps “Install” should not have been used in the title. This is not an
installation video. This is a performance test video. Very detailed in this
respect. Great for one who does not know how to test the performance of
their newly installed unit. However, it does not show one how the unit is
installed.

AVTreasures86 . says:

Hey Ralph!! Man, the Mitsubishi is quiet and the amp draw is impressive.
Like you say, who cares if it runs all day at that amperage!! Thanks for
the video!!

T&N Services LLC. says:

Hey Ray, that unit will pay for itself as time goes by. You need to put in
your shop.

talyn875 says:

very nice looking unit. thoes minis are so quiet its unbelievable!.

Nutintoitbut2doit says:

Nice looking Install

hvactecster79 says:

Great video Ralph. IF I ever get my shop here at the house, thinking
heavily on one of those to handle the hvac for it. Never worked on any or
installed them, but get asked by customers about them a lot, especially for
mobile homes when they have on window shakers at the time. Take care.

Jonathan Schmadeke says:

Thank you for taking the time to produce such great videos. I’ve learned
quite a bit from watching them. I’m currently researching mini splits in an
attempt to purchase the “best” one for my application. When trying to
determine the correct BTU size, I keep running into the same two methods:
the online calculator ( that asks for linear wall lengths, window sizes,
ceiling height, etc) and the other one, straight square footage. Which do
you follow?

T&N Services LLC. says:

Hey Tecster, Like I said in the video I cant find anything bad to say about
Mitsubishi!!!! Easy to install and as you saw with the amp draw very
efficient. I did do a test and did let the room temp get to 78 and started
it back up. It draw about 7 amps for about 3 mins then started ramping down
it got down to about 2.5 amps with in 15 mins. then I had to go. If you
ever get the chance to put one in do it.

HVACrookie says:

I was a little confused by your reply to my comment as well. it seems that
for some reason my comment went to the wrong video. ive watched tandn video
with no complaints so far. sorry for the confusion. the unit I was
commenting on was on some sort of green house.

T&N Services LLC. says:

It’s all good, no worries!!!!!

TheA8W12 says:

after looking at a ductless system i called a Mitsubishi sales person at
local home depot ready to drop about ~$3000 to get it in and was excited
about it and couple minutes into conversation he asked where i want it
mounted and i said it is for our 600ft2 bedroom in the basement and
immediately he said not to buy a ductless system for a basement, saying i
will only be able to control the temp about 3-4 degrees that’s all and then
he recommended a portable AC. really? is that true?? thank you!

dizziedallas says:

Really Nice looking install! Man that thing is quiet!

HVACrookie says:

I don’t mean to offend but that unit seems like it might me some b- rate
piece of junk. there are a lot of manufactures out there that produce these
replication mini-split and refrigeration units that are complete garbage,
and have no warranties or replacement parts. another good example of this
is in ATVs and motocross bikes. we’ve all seen the crappy no name knock
offs.

turbos6x says:

I just installed a 24k btu mini-split yesterday in less that 3 hours. FIRST
TRY! It is fairly straight forward. I was quoted 2k to install a unit that
I previously purchased. yea right. Now all I have to do is call a
professional to charge the system. maximun of $300. Don’t get taken to the
cleaners guys. Do your due diligence…
