I have a 2006 lancer, I just had the brakes looked at and the mechanics wanted over $200 for the brake pads to be replaced…. I bought $23 pads, looked up this video, and then an hour later I replaced them myself 🙂 I really appreciate this video, this helped me save a lot. Thank you.

I remember another video saying you need to OPEN THE BRAKE FLUID LID AT THE TOP IN THE BONNET BEFORE COMPRESSING THE PISTON TO MAKE WAY FOR THE NEW THICKER PAD, AND YOU HAVE TO PUMP THE BRAKE PEDAL IN THE END BEFORE DRIVING?
