The fuses are bad, you should check again.
What if my lighter is not working as well?
I would have done the same thing, if that doesn’t work i don’t know what to do next too.

Usually if you compressor constantly cycles, is means you are low on Freon. Or bad pressure switch.

Your videos are AWESOME! They helped me ALOT! I also have a 2003 Mitsu Lancer! Mine is white, though. I used your vids to help me with changing the gears for the heat /cold, and it helped me with opening up the dashboard when I installed my new radio. I really didn’t think those were things that I could do myself til I watched your videos! I need your help with something else. My ac is not working like it was before. I recharged it (a whole can of freon), but that didn’t help…?

she runs like a charm. she is a good highway driver no shaking she needed TLC when I first got her. i have watched all your videos you been very helpful I was wondering if u still have the car or going to do more videos u have any links to where u got ur pieces I need struts a question have u ever had a problem with your coil packs? hesitation and sputtering? I know I need new sparkplugs and wires only put about 600 into her still worth it for the time being

it ended up working! looked under the dash and moved the gear set and it was pretty seized, it blew not hot till I put some r134a now shes blowin like a breeze! 700$ car found on craigslist with heat and a/c =)

hello. first off I love your videos. Second of all… I need HELP! 🙁 I the same knob you fixed, if you take that knob off there is a white shaft thingy! sorry I honestly don’t know what its called. But since I couldn’t turn with knob I used pliers before and messed up the little white plastic thing. Do you know what that part is called or where/how to get it? I honestly searched over 15 hours worth.
I don’t know, but what I did with mines is bend it back straight. I never change any wire.
that fixed the knob, but the wire is bent, is it the same control wire as the far left knob?

I have this same issue in my car and actually broke the heater control switch b/c I got so frustrated with it. So now that I have a new heater control switch I will be trying to fix the gears. Thanks!!

now im hvac tech for commercial businesses. my point do what you want there’s help out there but you gotta go chase it down sooner you do it the better. btw wyo tech and uti can set u up with some good companies and financial aid
you can do it for living you have the mindset of mechanic just need the knowledge witch is gained through school or others i did it through out high school moved to northern California on my own at 15 was gunna stay with aunt but she was crazy so stayed with friend they had one of best hs auto classes ended up meeting govenator and all lol then went to uti witch taught me alot now im arizona was doing R&R on trans got bored of it in a way
did you replace line as well they become frayed over use also grease will help make sure alignment of the two are correct as well.
lol do you know that anything rubbed together causes friction? you would be correct if that wasn’t true, i would just make sure its lithium or ceramic grease others might soften or harm the plastic.
AC light come on when you press? blower motor come on? if so check the line that goes into control sometimes when the gears get jammed people try to force them usually breaks knob but they might of snaped clip off holding the cable.
yes you are but while your at it i would defiantly replace the blower motor. small amount of friction increase in bearings cause it to draw more power witch in return cause the resister to overheat and blow. very least take it out make sure nothing tangled or obstructing it from turning, and give it a spin should move easily or most likely its bout too go witch will cost you another resistor and their not cheap i’m sure you’ve found out. i ended up buying 2 then blower motor
nope you have to replace whole control the clips can be pain in the ass too same thing happened to me i just got one from junkyard while your at it i would replace gears as well though or you will probably break it too very common problem with the lancers. their the same up too 2005 evo’s and oz.
