The Eclipse… the 3000GT VR4… even the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution…. WHAT HAPPENED?! Diamond Star Motors or DSM used to cater to car enthusiasts like none other, but today when we take a look at Mitubishi’s lineup – we’re immediately overwhelmed with mediocrity and straight up depression. How does a company like Mitsubishi go from producing some of the best cars on the road with the EVO, to where they are today – producing economical, flat-out boring vehicles. Is it because the core of their business is outside of automotive?
