Installing Wi-Fi adapter on Mitsubishi mini-split heat pump Part# PAC-USWHS002-WF-2

In this video I show how I installed the Mitsubishi Kumo Cloud Wireless Adapter (Wi-Fi) Interface Control 2 on my mini-split wall mounted heat pump Model: MSZ-FS15NA.

Adding Wi-Fi control to Mitsubishi mini-split heat pump.

After installing this part on my heat pump I can now control the settings while away from home from my phone.

The part number that I installed in this video is: PAC-USWHS002-WF-2

Thank you so much for the informative video. You did a great job explaining everything in a clear and concise way. I need to reset my kumo cloud interface and unfortunately it’s not on the side of my unit. The installers tucked it inside. I was able to remove all the pieces as you’ve shown and I can see it’s connected but it’s laying down on the very bottom piece of the unit. I can’t see how to remove that piece to get at it. I’ve taken some photos but don’t know if I can upload them here. Can you tell me how to remove the bottom piece of the unit or if there is some other way to get to it? It’s laying down to the left of the sensor as you look at the unit. Thanks

Thank you so much for this video. We just had a Mitsubishi mini split installed in a detached garage, so having remote capability is huge. Never would have been able to install and set this up without your step-by-step instructions.

Thank you! I am installing my MSZ heads now with the Wi-Fi control and the printed install guides do not really show what to do. The booklet that came with the Wi-Fi unit is not useful. Your video shows exactly what to do. We appreciate you taking the time to put it together and post it.

Thanks for the demo! I currently have a unit running on a wireless wall thermostat- do I have to swap the wireless wall thermostat adapter for the Kumo cloud adapter, or can I use both?
