Can I install a regulator without buying a motor? My motor just like you is
fine and just buying a regulator is much cheaper. I have the same car,
model and year lol what are the chances! (when I went to my mechanic, he
said I needed to buy both pieces because one would not work without the
other) However, I sensed throughout the video that you were telling us that
you could buy a new regulator or motor and hook it up to your old one no
problem. (sorry for making it lengthy, & of coarse I subbed because I love
you for doing this video!)
That’s a feature of your driverside window switch. I’m not aware of anyway
to achieve this with the regulator. In theory you could frankenstein the
window switches to have all 4 with the one touch, but it wouldn’t be easy.
do you know if they make one touch up/down regulators for these windows? I
have one touch down feature on just the driver’s side and would like to
update each of them.
Awesome Cesar, Glad it helped 🙂
Thanks to you I got my Window regulator changed on a Mitsubishi Galant
2000. The door is exactly the same. And also my Front Left window was the
broken one. I guess is the one used the most? Thanks again!
No they are not Cyril, all four motors are different surprisingly. You can
get them from RockAuto or off Amazon. I like the Dorman as they build good
stuff; Front Driver side 741996, Front Pass side 741997, Rear Driver side
741998, Rear Pass side 741999. Just search the part number at any place
you like to get them 🙂
the motor of the front passenger and rear passenger side, are they the same?
where can i order the motor at?
Thank you so much for this video!!!!
