So i removed my dummy cover and when i reached the back to try to find the connector there was nothing connected to the dummy plug i used my fingers to search for it inside but could jot find anything do you think previous owner took it out or something

I just recently bought lancer 2014 and i just wondering how can i take out the cable from the back it is so hard. I can feel the wire connected to something but so hard to unplug it with the small area available to put your fingers in it

Thanks Fatal Attractionz. I just bought my 2015 Evo X and was bummed it didn't have the aux port myself. Tried to connect my iPhone and it only reads the iPod portion of it, does NOT read as just an aux imput so this really helped. Going to purchase the part soon myself and will have an aux port like it should stock already. Thanks!

When you disarm the stereo(dash), which i did before looking at your video, it has on the back of it a direct entry for a 3.5 female conector!

I have the exact same model and year, it has the dummy plugin but there is no wire. I took my dash apart to see if it was tucked away and nothing šŸ™
