How to install paddle shifters on any Mitsubishi lancer 2008+ My car is a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer ES, so it never came with the shifter paddles or an option to enable sport mode from the factory, but every model has it you just need these paddles or the shifter assembly from the GTS to enable it. This was a very simple plug and play install and works perfect. I had trouble finding information about this so I decided to make a step-by-step video. I purchased the oem paddle shifter assembly for Mitsubishipartsnow.com and I will link the exact part here: https://www.mitsubishipartsnow.com/oem-parts/mitsubishi-shift-paddle-2401a004?c=bD0xJm49U2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHM%3D part number is 2401A004. This was a very simple and easy install, anyone can do it. Only took me 10 minutes! My car is tuned by Rick at Rallinspired, that is how I have pops and bangs. They offer remote tuning and I highly recommend them if you’re interested in a tune. Their website is Rallinspired.com and you can find them on Facebook as well, just search Rallinspired. But you do not need a tune for this mod to work.
Leave a comment if you have any questions and I’ll do my best to answer them.
does this work with the auto cvt?
Where did you go to get your car tuned or did you do it yourself? I have a 2014 Lancer SE and im looking to get it tuned after i put on paddles and an exhaust
You got a pop tune or that’s from the exhaust you have?
Hey man would this work on a DE 2010 lancer? Just the paddles
Can paddle shifter work on non cvt transmission also? My car has the connector however it's non cvt transmission
Is you transmission still good?
you got basic lancer like me? no turbo added? you got the codes for the tune wanted to get mine done but they said they needed the codes for it.
