I have a 2012 Lancer GT, and while I don’t have a code or need to replace the O2 sensor or cat, the heat shield cover that goes on/around the cat is loose – this is causing a rattling/squeaking while idle. I can move I’m the cover freely. I noticed this cat cover has a worm gear hose clamp – do you know if this was done to stop any rattling/vibration? I put a hose clamp on mine, but it just goes around the cat cover and doesn’t fasten it to anything to prevent the vibrations. Can you help?

hello i have a probleme with my car mitsubishi lancer 2009 manuel 2.4 engine probleme with acceleration i have light check engine whats say probleme with system egr and sond lambda
so when i run the car it drive really weel but after using it for like 30 mn ahead without stop the acceleration get slow and slow even that i push the gaz but no power its like something i feel in the engine getting down dont let the horsepower get out
am so confuse a already changer the egr system but the probleme not solved wondering if the sond lambda its the reaon for that probleme

I just had my slow down light warning on my 2008 lancer. Took it to a mechanic and he didn't found any issues. But the scanner marked catalytic converter error. I feel the car is lacking power and make a funny vacuum cleaner noise. Can I try a cleaner first?
