Okay I have a Hyundai Sonata 2000 and blue smoke cloud shoots out from the
exhaust when stoping at a red light or any stop while driving for a while,
how can I fix that ? Is it oil leaking in combination chamber?

Cody Tovar says:

Could a cracked oil pressure switch cause massive amounts of oil leakage?

Cody Tovar says:

Could a cracked oil pressure switch cause massive amounts of oil leakage?

jodirt2k7 says:

What would cause oil to leak through oil drain plug?

Scotty Kilmer says:

bad drain plug gasket

M.A Flores says:

scott, is it safe if i used “engine oil stop leaks additives” in my engine?
is it bad or not? thanks and more power…

Scotty Kilmer says:

I only use AT 205 reseal for such sealing, it works great and damages
nothing. But I’ve seen other sealers actually do damage

Clay Hoel says:

1:47 laughed my ass off at how hard he was working prying that cam seal in
haha!

Scotty Kilmer says:

previous owner didn’t change it enough. Just change yours every 3 thousand
miles and don’t worry about the color

george douglas says:

Could I send you a video of a oil leak on my car?

Dougie Barclay says:

hey scotty you need to normalize your videos mate. i turn it down because
your intro is loud, then your main video is quiet, so i turn it up, then
the outtro is loud as shit again!

SYNCPHAN1OM says:

Hey Scotty my 97 camry has been leaking oil for a while and i found where
it was leaking from and it was from my cam plug seal and I fixed that and
later on when i shut off my car, it leaks oil and i look under and you know
when under its my left-upper left corner of the oil pan leaking oil and im
not sure if its the oil pan or somewhere above the oil pan. can you help?

morganix007 says:

Hey Scotty, Should I have to take off the oil pan to clean the oil screen?
Sometimes when I start the engine and rev it up it sounds like chocking.

Accivic says:

Hi Scott I have a honda civic 94 and I see oil leaking. Do you thing I may
have to do the same thing for my car, to remove the time belt and replace
the rubber

Tuan Dat Ngo says:

Watching this in 2013 still entertainable and awsome Thanks Scotty !

Scotty Kilmer says:

ah, this is an old video, can’t change it now. Check my newest ones from
the past two years at the scottykilmer channel on youtube. They are all
fine.

John Thornton says:

I like to use lithium grease to hold the oring in place. Using an old
timing belt to get the cam gear is very clever… As always Scotty – you
rock!

kaichimon says:

LOL i love this guy, hell yeah

Scotty Kilmer says:

often a leaking rear main seal does that. Try some AT 205 reseal, amazon
sells it and it can stop such leaks

Gregory Rodriguez says:

thanks for the help!

Peter Gonzalez says:

hey scotty i was driving to work the other day and my car just stop and
massive engine oil spilled from my car i tryed turning the car back on and
it turned on but was making a clucking noise so i turned her off and got
her towed what do you think is the problem

marci figueroa says:

have you ever worked on a 93 madza 2.2 truck

TheR1NT1NT1N says:

you fix it by buying a k-5 that’s how you fix it

Scotty Kilmer says:

seal will leak on the belt and ruin the new belt. Your mechanic should have
changed it out on that old thing when he did it the first time, I would use
someone else

Scotty Kilmer says:

zero are the chances of a rubber seal wearing out a metal cam shaft Get a
factory seal, make him do the job over free, or get your money back and go
elsewhere. Sealer will not help a wrong size seal

Scotty Kilmer says:

do my video “finding and fixing car oil leaks” and put that dye in one
system first to see if that’s leaking out somewhere

Peter Gonzalez says:

is it safe to drive a car in these conditions kinda have no choice only way
to work. kinda acts like a standard car needing to shift gear once i hit 45
can my engine blow up

Scotty Kilmer says:

first, try adding some AT 205 reseal, amazon sells it. Often works, but if
not, try the rear seal first and pray it’s not the front one requiring
tranny removal

Abu Yiesir says:

u r very funny and helpful videos…keep posting. thanks.
