And dats how pepsi is born 😀 and also my heater core leaks anti freeze
sometimes 🙁 on passenger side of my kidnapp van 🙂

Don Woo says:

compliments on this video…I’ve watched more than 20 similar videos
covering the same type of project…and still wasn’t sure about 2 things…
This video actually answered both of my questions, plus…totally saved my
ass with a much appreciated warning…which was to use extreme caution when
disconnecting stubborn hoses straight from the aluminum nipples on the
heater core. I know, without a doubt, I would’ve eff’d-up my heater core if
I hadn’t watched this video…thanks mane!!

Rene Herrera says:

hey man thx u helped alot

here2learn1 says:

Thank you so much for this! I am having the same problem and my boyfriend
and step dad are going to try this instead of forking over over $400.00 for
something that might cost less than $100.00 to have heat again.

SinBeatz1 says:

@MrPep469 damn that suck hell of a job i tell u that! does it smell?

baktash21 says:

thanks for the information buddy…very useful and informative

Mark Brown says:

Also says “Nope it hasn’t overheated. Just cracked so it leaks antifreeze,
just have kept it always filled with antifreeze so it won’t. I don’t know
if the heater not working is from the crack or a block in one of the hoses.
My friend said the hose would just need to be flushed.” What do you think?
As far as chances of core broken and price range for the car?

jhames tan says:

@SinBeatz1 the leak is coming from the drainage. the drainage from the
firewall under the two heater core hose. sometimes it leaks inside the car
passenger side. the time i flush my heater core (like the one you did in
the video) some water goes inside the car. does that mean that i should
really change my heater core?? do i still have any choice besides replacing
heater core??. thanks a lot @SinBeatz1 for answering all my question.
you’re one of a kind. thank you so much.

mwd92 says:

you should open up a shop

Anoop Bhat says:

i think this problem is happening on my girlfriends 01 eclipse. are the
nipples in the same place? also, what about the thermostat little part
under the dash? is that in/around the same place as on the video? thanks!
good video!

tonyaisfamous says:

Hey, I have the exact same car, exact same problem. I’ve been quoted $600
to replace the damn core, but I refuse to spend that much, and my Bf is
certain I have to buy a new core. There is no leak tho in passenger side,
but where can I get hoses to flush out the core, I’m wondering too if the
flushing does not work, and thermostat was changed, then what do I do,
please if u can help

SinBeatz1 says:

@SirSet well are you able to see the car?? if you buying from outta state
hope you can see it and bring a mechanic with u to look for any defected
things. A flush would help but have to find source of leak…not enough
pressure to the core can cause no heat as well. Crack in radiator well that
could also be it. Coolant travels with pressure movinbg it to all the
components with a crack you have low pressure.

SinBeatz1 says:

@MrMxAudio hell yea sometimes its the dumbest shit instead of a bigger job

SinBeatz1 says:

@jhamestan well my friend if its broken then its done stop leak will work
for small leaks yet if it losing antifreeze rapidly then it will only leak
out as well. damaged heater cores work off the anitfreeze to heat the core
to produce heat and if it is leakin a lot then you wont get anything from
stop leak. Did you locate the source of the leak…is your car wet inside
from leak if so then the core is damaged and you will have no choice but
get it replaced.

Jamie Wilson says:

Great video … thank you!

SinBeatz1 says:

im not sure where the exact location of the in&out but usually its located
at the firewall. As for the mechanism under dash Im also not exactly sure.
Try locating the heater core from behind engine and try to flush if the
heat isnt working best of luck and thanks for watching!

MrPep469 says:

Yeah sweet as honey pancakes 🙂

jhames tan says:

@SinBeatz1 i really appreciate for the information you gave me.. that was
really very helpful.. one more question. if my heater core is broken, is it
gonna work if i used stop leak?? or i really gonna change my heater core?..
thanks a lot

Jafromobile says:

Everything this gentleman said about being careful with the heater core is
true. Always REPLACE the heater hoses if you have to mess with it. If the
inside’s full of rust, the hoses are in roughly the same shape already.
REPLACE them. I’ve replaced a heater core in my ’95 GS Eclipse. Worst car
ever to do this on. The core cost me $180. It took me 2 weeks to finish the
job working 4 hours a night. Replacing the core isn’t as bad as cleaning up
all the damage inside the car from the leak.

Anoop Bhat says:

ok. i’ll try to figure it out and grab some pics.

NameIsNotWrittenHere says:

Well you can try unclogging the heater core first. But if it doesn’t work
you might have to replace it. It’s a PITA

Mark Brown says:

Chick is sellin a 02 galant es for 1700 bucks.. “I’ve had no problem with
motor or transmission or serious issues like that. Only mechanical problems
would be that the heater has been out for about 2 months (I think there’s a
crack in the radiator), the radio that came stock w/the car went out but
the cd player still works (which seems like a simple fix, just getting &
installing a new radio), & the crack in the windshield which has been there
since I bought the car from it’s previous owner.”

SinBeatz1 says:

@baktash21 Glad to help and thank you for watchin!

Jafromobile says:

I just wanted to chime in because you’re linked off one of my videos, and
yours is simply awesome. (ツ) b

SinBeatz1 says:

@chgotbanned at least u have heat this lady didnt and we right on the coast
to she needed heat bad lol

mwd92 says:

@SinBeatz1 go thru a dealer program thats what iam doin in january

chgotbanned says:

i need a heater core for my car too, mine leaks, still have heat tho from
what i recall

NameIsNotWrittenHere says:

Your heater core is fucked. Replace it

pugskreationz says:

lets say my cars heat does not work, and its leaking anti freez in the
upholstry in the pasenger side,,,,, if i flush it will it work again?will
it leak?

SinBeatz1 says:

@mwd92 shiiiiiit i would just need money and get certified soon i should be
lookin into going to school to be certified

pugskreationz says:

tried it, the water was dirty ass fuck. Then i plugged the hoses back in
and that shit started leaking again…..straight bullshiht, there goes 800
bucks

pugskreationz says:

If it were only that easy. I dont want to fuck up the dash. I just
connected both hoses together so the antifreeze would stop leaking

vtecboy9 says:

nice how to, thanks for the video bro. but why to rusty??was that car
runing on plain water instead of antifreeze?or the coolant has never been
changed?…

jonathan hand says:

thank you 🙂 it work on my Mitsubishi Mirage mivec asti zr 1998
