Eric McGuire says:

6 months? DAMN it took me 2 days to change the Head, head gasket, water
pump, oil pump, and all gaskets through out the engine

stan slavov says:

well done

GreenV6Shogun says:

@MrShaunyboyy I agree! Thats why i saved this one instead of it being
scrapped. Thanks!

Randy Johnson says:

dry lifters

Shaun S says:

Shoguns are well and truly the best vehicles ever. Can’t understand why
people would rather have anything else!!

shogunjosex says:

lifters are fuck up, try to change them

Shaun S says:

@GreenV6Shogun Yeah I love my shogun. My dads friend was going to scrap it
after it failed an MOT. I was having none of it! He gave it to me for
nothing too. Delighted. 😀 Like your videos by the way, keep it up.

Tom Haslett says:

I used to have 1 of these! the fuel costs killed me though… Also I had
huge trouble with the alarm / immobilizer and alot of other things. I loved
that car but,.. i had to scrap it. Was going to cost me too much time and
money. Was very sad to see it go. I had a 2.8 Pajero now though 🙂 I also
got 16mpg roughly .. loves the noise it made when you planted it 🙂

TheGmario says:

wath a sound!? O.o

Mr330d says:

@GreenV6Shogun how bad is this bitch on fuel lol? my dads frontera 2.2 dti
rs = 35mpgs so this v6 petrol must be thirsty

kai heath says:

it doesnt even sound like its running on all 6

GreenV6Shogun says:

@Motorfordtoyota Yes i think headers could help so worth doing if its not
too much money. Otherwise just look after it and hope it lasts many more
miles! Thanks.

hbnerfful says:

the tick is the tappets

j12torts says:

take care of this baby its so fun to drive pajeros…recently jst changed
coolant in it…mybe could post some videos of u guys changing coolant on it

GreenV6Shogun says:

@studogs80 Its all fine now, the lifters are hydralic so needed to refill
with oil and the oil burning was from spilt oil on the manifold, if you
watch the next morning part of the video youll see its much better

GreenV6Shogun says:

@alvarete1621 ok ill check it out!

Zach Davis says:

@GreenV6Shogun I priced them out, for the 88 3vze I think its like 950
dollars for the pair of V6 headers!!! Fuck that, Ill just modify the
mainfolds! But I have heard that opening up the 3 litre really picks up in
hp. But, nice truck. I hope mine lasts alot longer.

Stefenie Lauder says:

Go You!!!! I remember in march when you were working on it. Can’t believe
i’ve only just seen this video! You really can do anything lol xx

Tom Haslett says:

just listening to the sound of the engine makes me regret it! 🙁 nice work
though 🙂 My channel has alot of videos from offroading you might be
interested in. (Green Shogun is my old baby) the Blue Pajero is my new
2.8TD.

GreenV6Shogun says:

@OXLEYCRUSHER I didnt have any anti-freeze about at the time so water was
better than nothing 🙂

GreenV6Shogun says:

@Mr330d Yeah its pretty bad, around 22 on long journeys but around town
youd be lucky to get more than 16mpg! thanks!

GreenV6Shogun says:

@Motorfordtoyota Yes adding headers will give more hp. Runs good from what
iv seen! Thanks.

studogs80 says:

omg thats screwedddddd. stuffed lifters oil burning

Don Pitis says:

amazing, I have one of these and swore that there was automatic because in
my country, Colombia, only the mechanical sold, is 2003 and is beginning to
have its first technical problems, because it sounds weird when turned on,
could make a video and upload it so you can comment.

Frank Serpico says:

THAT SOUNDS FUCKED

GreenV6Shogun says:

@thazlett144 They do have great sounding engines! im going to have to sell
this one too because its to expensive on fuel :/ yeah i also get between 14
and 22 mpg! May do the same and get a diesel one, ill be sure to check out
your vids Thanks!

lavenderhawk says:

not every one is as good as you… lol

FascistBros says:

are these reliable?

GreenV6Shogun says:

@10mcguire1 Was my first try and could only do it 2 days a month, 8 hours
is an average for me now 🙂

Zach Davis says:

I just hope my head gaskets dont go out on my 88 toyota 4runner 3vze. They
had a recall for the head gaskets. No porblem 262000 miles in, but, I need
some headers and that should get me in the clear. People on Yotatech say
the doug thorleys fixed their head gasket failures. Nice truck, even though
im not a fan of Mitsubishis (all of thei American modles are shit)

1996zeeshan says:

get some ccolant in that!!!!!!

OXLEYCRUSHER says:

Get some anti-freeze in her!not a good idea to use tap water,no
anti-corrosion protection or cold weather protection.

MrMrAlex07 says:

is the lifters are discharged of oil
