Hi everyone!. FIRST OFF I wanted to say I have 100% respect for all of you full time body shop guys who do this for a living day in and day out!. You have more patients than I do..
In this video we take our 24 year old plastic side skirts from the 1998 mitsubishi eclipse GSX and restore them AT HOME and get professional results!. This process take a good chunk of time to do. Lots of sanding and cleaning and sanding again… then guess what?.., more cleaning!. BUTTTT!!!….. its all worth it in the end. Take your time and make all the corrections to your part BEFORE painting it. PREP IS KEY!. As you watch me go over multiple passes repairing small imperfections ill bet you get an understanding of what im talking about. In my opinion its not the most fun to do but it is extremely satisfying once your parts painted and looks brand new again.
To all of you pro body guys out there FEEL FREE TO COMMENT TIPS OR TRICKS that you suggest I use moving forward on our next body project. I would totally appreciate it and would share it with everyone else here.
