CV Axle Change Passenger Side on an AWD Mitsubishi Endeavor DIY

CV Axle Change Passenger Side on an AWD Mitsubishi Endeavor DIY

This video was made to show to the viewer how I replaced the passenger side Constant Velocity Axle ( Half Shaft ) and CV Output Shaft Seal on an AWD Mitsubishi Endeavor.

The CV Axle may be similar with:
2004 – 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor and several other vehicle models

Do you remember the seal number?

Any suggestions on not breaking the 10mm bolt on the speed sensor? Would penetrating fluid the night before help?

Mitsubishi is proving to be a serious challenge to work with. How did you find the replacement cv axle seal? Does "Left" mean "driver's side" for these seals? Your video is awesome, great work!

Miranda McGinnis says:

Great video just wish it was for the rear passenger side.

you are by far the best u tube information content. This is my first time ever leaving a comment.
I have watched a lot of u tube and never wanted to leave a comment but
I could not let this one go. Everything to the point, no need to talk about your dog ,sore foot, neighbors cat Blah Blah Blah.
All the info I needed. THANK YOU THANK YOU. I have suscibed for the first time ever!
One point ,why do I have to turn the key on and off for 10 seconds?

Robert Schmidt says:

Excellent video,  well done.  My ABS sensor was frozen too and broke.

Your CV Halfshaft looks much more fun than mine. Mine would absolutely not separate from the wheel bearing (Had to change the bearing, but ended up changing halfshaft too), and for the ABS sensor, yeah, mine was seized in there, and I broke it when replacing the bearing. Rust is a terrible thing. Still love these trucks though!

Thanks for an excellent video. I went through 3000 pages of the workshop manual and got more info out of this 10 minute video than all of the hours I spent poring over the manual.
