So for the washers, you are suppose to remove the gray rubber nipple cover which exposes a hard plastic nipple and washers snap right in!
My wife and I appreciate you straight / strong instructions on how to do this . Brother you saved us $$

You need remove grey rubber piece and insert round clip .
