Works on the 010 fusion as taped. Only suggestion is use a magnified
torque driver to remove the screw behind the door handle, easy to drop.

thanks duuude, your tutorial video was a great help, you held that camera
very steady, you were as detailed as can be without being over detailed,

tremendous plus for me, many thanks

Dave Weimer says:

Yay! My new project to start! Driver door handle broke today. Guess I’ll be
channeling my inner-Lester later this week when I get the part. Apparently
this is a common issue for this model, but knock on wood, this is the only
“major” repair I’ve had to do to the car in the past two and half years
(and 85,000 miles).

Jim Epp says:

Thank you for the video! It was very helpful. I bought the upholstery tool
and it helped immensely. With all the right tools (7mm socket wrench, star
drill bit, upholstery tool & screwdriver) I was able to complete the
replacement in 25 min. You video was the most important tool though!! thank
you very much, my three year old played it over and over for me while I did
the work.

Hopefully I get the same results.

Paul Huskey says:

A note on model year differences, the 2006 through 2009s use a two-piece
door clip (which you see here) and they are quite fragile, easily losing
support. Frankly they suck. Luckily the 2010-2012 models use a single-piece
that is far superior.

Erika Yeager says:

Thanks a lot. Taking on this project tomorrow.

Travis Connot says:
