My 2008 is doing the exact same thing. How did you get the hood to release
and lifted in order to lubricate it ?
And with that being said your nick makes me hungry… hey what can I say, I
also love hot stuff AND Jalapenos 🙂
I was always told that WD-40 is like a penetrating oil, but yes, the white
lithium will do a better job… On another note, I’ve had to pop the hood A
LOT today and tonight for my power line video and whilst driving to make
sure the hood works, opened FLAWLESSLY every time.
Actually, part of my hood release problem was the hood bumper sat lower on
one side than the other. I got a video on correcting that..
WD-40 for me BUT a silicon based lubricant like liquid wrench will do a
better job for longer.
