D-Ray.. Thanks for posting such a great detailed video. I have a 1998 BassTracker ProTeam 175 with a Mercury 40HP Outboard and did mine just like you showed on here and it was way easy. It only cost me $20 bucks to do it myself. :o) Thanks again for your great videos.

hi my engine is a force by mercury 70hp i want to change the water pump and i want to know if have to be in nultral to kate out water stopped spittng hard any tips.

draywanda says:

It is possibly an impeller problem, I would try flushing out the cooling system with a hose first just in case it is plugged with bugs or debris.

stinkypantsAZ says:

hey my engine stopped spitting out water and i haven’t run her since because i was afraid of over heating, i was just wanding if it is an impellor problem?

olebiker says:

You saved me a bunch of money today. The new impeller cost about $23 and it took me about 45 minutes. Thanks for posting this.

Two stroke oil injected loop charged 3 cylinder.

pickinonsixx says:

Thanks!

KnotTellin32 says:

Is that a 4 stroke? It looks like it based on the size of the power head.
