does anyone know what the problem is? high idle speed, 1200 rpm the solenoid suction is very hard, more than normal (broken?)

What model is this and did your engine stall out after running at low rpm’s for a while?
I have a mercury 60 horse Bigfoot EFI that’ll only get up to 3700 RPMs can’t figure it out
I have a mercury outboard 125 2000 I took water over the back my trim went went out of the and stayed on had t o disconnect the battery to stop any help would be nice thk

Hey this issue is caused by your IAC valve. Its the one in the video sucking air. This has a solenoid on the inside which should open and close to regulate air going in. If the solenoid stops working it causes this issue. Only thing you can do is replace the IAC valve. Hope this helps
