SlackerSlayer says:

Why can’t they manufacture an outboard that does not leak oils all over the
place? Go to any boat with one and you will see the slick growing.

John Polkowski says:

Have a Mercury 9.9 from the ’70’s. The motor is kept in my basement which
is bone dry. The engine is in mint condition and I run the gas out of the
engine with every use. The engine always starts up on the 2nd or 3rd pull.
My problem is that the last time I took it out I noticed that it ran fine,
but when I gave it full throttle, it seemed like I was flooding the engine
and it began to power down. This is the first time that this has happened.
What could be the problem? ChefJohnP@aol.com
