Jason Koritsoglou says:

I have an 04 grand marquis…I'm starting to get rough idle and engine gives little shimmy here and there When idling. When driving for longer periods of time I can feel the engine feeling as if it's misfiring I'm not getting Any check engine and I've taken out the spark plugs and ignition coils all seem to be in decent condition. The only other way I can describe it is it feels like the engine is got a little flutter and when driving above 40 miles an hour it feels as if the wheels are starting to shimmy as well The tire pressure and alignment are fine on the vehicle so with considering the idle problems I feel that these problems are connected.. Any ideas of what else it could be? The only other thing I can think of is possibly the fuel injectors? Again this isn't Constant it mainly happens when accelerating above 30 miles an hour and when the car has been driven for longer than 20 to 30 minutes It seems to be more Noticeable and without getting any check engine I'm not sure what else I can check

Neeco Holloway says:

carolina bull says:

kermitefrog64 says:

Nice way to check out your coil or injector. Like your choice of soft jazz in the back ground.

Mike Williams says:

For someone who never worked on cars and from the looks of this, I guess I'm won't be changing the spark plugs. I was hoping to be easier than this.

Rebecca Walker says:

great video, easy to understand and no ifs ands or ughs..straight to the point. only thing I had to skip was the ads

brian murphy says:

agree great video, one caution on a lot of these 4.6L Panther engines is the spark plugs need to be torqued in properly. Due to the short thread length in the heads the plugs have been known to fly out, and shoot through the hood. For this same reason the anti seize on the plug threads may be not advisable. BTW Ive seen all your videos and really like them.

Mideya Lino says:

Will this work for a 1999?

george pruitt says:

Considering all the times my Grand Marquis has been in the shop, best way to repair it is to remove radiator cap, then replace everything else.

Dan Trogdon says:

That was real cool. I'm preparing to do this myself as my car is definitely not firing on all cylinders. I've got a 2000 grand marquis. Good shape. Most of my money has gone to replacing the front end. Now it's time for a tune up. You make it look so easy Jesse. Thank you for this.

donovo says:

Nice job thanks man!

James O'Garcia says:

Cornelius Crewe says:

Thank you for getting straight to the point without a lot of useless exposition. THIS is very refreshing.

Chad Bell says:

These engines can be a little temperamental if they don’t have the motor craft spark plugs in them. I bought an aftermarket set and returned them and will only be using motorcraft from now on. Thanks for the video!

Katie Hulsey says:

I changed my spark plugs last night and my car is still sputtering. Could it be the fuel injector or fuel pump??? I’m frustrated.

Abel Anaya says:

THANKS FOR THIS Bro
