on this video did you take out the jumper wire out of the r and rc slot
because i just installed this the way you showed on the video but i took
the silver jumper out of the R slot so I could put the red wire in it was
that okay to do?

I got my new thermostat from an electrical store and they told me to unplug
the power to the heather only when changing the thermostat. No need to turn
off the circuit breaker, is that correct?
