Had I watched this before trying to change the prop on my motor just now…..I would have saved myself a lot of banging with a hammer and 1 1/18" Socket to get that darn back side of the hub kit out of my old prop! After about 10 good hits with a hammer and the 1 1/8" socket. No luck. **Runs to YouTube, searches 'How to change a prop on a Mercury', watched this video….'WHAT!? Noooo Wayyy. Eff Sake'**. Rotated the splined outer portion of the hub, one light hit with a rubber mallet…and BOOM! Thank You, Devil's Lake Water Sports!
