It sounds like a that coil on the inside that fires on the 1 plug up under
the intake, they run about 125.00, If you change the plugs already, the
coils are going bad, I have a 2005 sable 24 valves with 113,300 miles,
and the plugs started filing up and I had to change one of the coils.

Did you ever fix it cause I have a 2002 mercury sable doing the same thing
