Our 1996 Mercury had a pesky oil leak. So when I was changing the oil, we found out the leak was coming from the gasket between the oil filter housing and the engine block.

Im supprised you didnt apply something to that new gasket to improve its
sealing, a spray coat of gasket maker or something that takes up any
roughness in the engine/part castings, although i dont know how old that
old gasket was so i could be talking rubbish…….yep i am ha ha 😀 😀

at least that one doesn’t have the Rear Main Seal issue like the Chevy’s do
after 200,000 miles. Any more news on Tammy’s BMW?
my nephew put a lift out side his shop so he could presure wash the under
side of his cars he has a holden manaro a 57 chev belair and a 77 impala
fast back all in mint condishion
