Not on this model.

MrShayelliott says:

The handle on the top is the gears

cpgixxer says:

Again I don’t understand what you are saying.

MrShayelliott says:

The gears are on the top

cpgixxer says:

Thanks! Duplicolor sells it, zinc chromate for the motor, regular grey for the tank and cowl. I’ll be posting my kg7h soon, you wanna see a paint job, it was clearcoated as well, the ke4 was not.

cpgixxer says:

@TheHeavyRockChannel @TheHeavyRockChannel The tank is removed and band and is sandblasted with glass bead. Then it was bondo’d to take out the dents. Then we apply a couple coats of primer (grey) then painted with nymarine.ca paint (Peter Mcdowall) using his rattlecan paint. The powerhead, lower and gear case is degreased, sanded where it can be sanded then painted with zinc chromate paint. Then I use high temp engine enamel silver to spray the bottom. 1 month until the paint cures.

cpgixxer says:

Thanks for the comment, next motor for restore is a 53 kg7h barn find, it ships tomorrow from Florida.
