I have an oil leak and after putting dye in the oil it is coming from the
connection of the oil cooler and the oil filter housing. I could have
purchased them separately but their a 2 different size gaskets for the 2
oil lines and it was cheaper to buy the whole unit already put together. My
problem is how to remove the old oil filter housing. It has a very large
nut at the bottom 34-38mm. Impact sockets are too thick to get in their. Is
their a special tool needed to remove the oil filter?
I will check my car this weekend.
