Great video Randy and Mike. Hey Randy did you call Alex from Legit Street Cars ? He owes you one, after helping him out with his Corvette.
No that 5 volt should be like 5.6 volt 4.6 is too low
Explain how does the oil that gets past connector insert destroys the cable harness. Does it erode the insulation and contribute to shorts? It would seem you could just replace the connector end.
Learning how to use a Fluke would have saved hours and hours of work here. I am beside myself.
Randy you did everything perfect except making a new jumper harness to replace the cam sensor wiring between the cam senor and the DCM. That would stop the check engine light from coming back on and the problem would be fixed.
I’LL give you $15,500.
Check connection to the radar.
After watching these videos I took my 2015 S550 with 96,000 miles into a shop to get the cam sencors changed and they found one that was just starting to leak. They cleaned it and told me it was caught in time. They also said it was a big problem. Thank you so much for your videos!
Take it to a dealership. Your guessing too much
That girly giggling is crazy. Is he smoking something?
Me personally I think someone went in and messed with the timing and it is a little off with all of that work should have came some kind of result or change your problem is internally and I would even go to the car maybe overheated at some point and was fixed if you bought it at an auction more than likely the last dealer got stuck with it too by someone I'm a dealer myself and I know how those too good to be true ones are.
Call the guy from legit street cars.
Check your E55o cab same issues with oil wicking , FCPEURO has a sacrificial plug to prevent wicking to ECU
I enjoyed your attempt to do stuff at home. Throwing stuff about at 5:39 made me lose respect and interest in your channel.. You probably do not care but you lost me. Bye.
There is a reason that most Mercedes Benz owners trade in or sell their automobiles within a year of the expiration of the original new car warranty. Extended warranties and maintenance agreements can be bought at the time of original purchase, however, that will cost between $4K to $5K to extend everything up to100K miles. Most owners don't have the ability to work on these cars. The work they performed on this car would have cost several thousand dollars at the dealership. So, buying a 10 year old Benz with over 100,000 miles on the odometer is basically a hobby since the owner can perform the repair work themselves. It makes absolutely no financial sense to invest in a 10 year old Benz and have to rely on a dealer or garage to do the maintenance and repair.
This should have been a recall.
Hi guys, voltage when it’s being charged underload is different Than just standing
Mike and Randy sell all their cars just wait around and you will see , I want to buy one too. They sure dont advertise it though . People want reconditioned and groomed cars for a little reliability for a while hopefully . I used to do it , couldnt get em fixed fast enough either . They tend to quit making payments when they quit running .
Mike lets Randy struggle for an hour or two then he says step back sonny boy
Everything on the new mercedes are plastic and it feels cheap and designed to fail .. German Technique ..very smart and the ICU placed on the top of the engine …
You need to calibrate the camera in the windshield
Mbtech here. You need an engine harness. There is no way around it unless you can run a wire from sensor to m.e
