it’s tough to get a straight answer,but according to Mercedes they are different parts even though they look identical..I don’t think it is merely the addition of the heat shield that is the difference or else the shield would just be added to the mount…each mount I used had a different part # and the shield wasn’t attached whatsoever to the right side mount…I think they are different stiffness co counteract the torque of the engine
So both parts are the same except for the heat shield? Or did I not listen well enough? I got a w202 C220 Diesel with 485000 something km on it, time to take a look at these mounts. Thanks for the video!
