my car is a 300d just so you know . i forgot to mention that

trunkz007 says:

that is the problem i have is that there is no space to get somerthing in there to pry it off. .it seems like i would need like a pulling tool.ill try to make a vid for you so you have a better look at it

The rear wheels should not have the dust cap so that would be interesting to see. The dust cap should be able to be pried out of hub with large screw driver. Seems that the wheel would not catch on that. Good luck.

also you could be right about it be anittheft

the deco emblem comes off. i was talk bout the metal dust cap after that. i have not done the rear wheels yet. im just doing the fronts first.the dust cap is whats catching the wheel. it spins with the wheel as i spin it. ill try to take pics for you when i get the chance

On this one I removed the wheel bolts and the wheel came off easily. So you are talking about the decorative emblem in the center of the wheel? The dust cap is the metal cover for wheel bearing nut and fits in hub. I Googled but did not find anything on this. I do not fully understand what is catching. This happens on rear wheels too? Sounds like some sort of an anit-theft add on. I am sure any local tire shop could give you an answer. Please post back with fix or info for others.
